FAQ

What is the time duration of the ticket?

All participants have 2 1/2 hours to climb, play on the course. Climbing time is not impeded by check-in, suit up, or ground school, so visitors should plan to spend 2.5 to 3 hours total on the adventure. It is best to fill out the waiver(s) online before you arrive to save time at check-in. Loose items are NOT permitted on the tower. For your convenience, car keys may be checked at the front desk while you climb. Free lockers are provided. At the time of check-in you will be suited in a harness, helmet, and gloves then taken to a ground school rules and safety training. Please arrive before your scheduled reservation time. For example if your reservation is at 9 a.m., arrive by 8:45 a.m.

Is there a height, weight, age restriction?

Bigfoot Ropes Course Weight Limit is #275 lbs. and participants must be at least 48" tall.

What are hours of operation?

Is a ticket required to watch my friends/family climb?

Tickets are only required for guests who are climbing. Observers are always welcome in the park.

Are reservations required?

We require reservations during peak summer months (June, July, August). Walk-ins are accommodated on a first come first serve basis. Reservations have priority, and can be made in-person, online, or over the phone. Payment is required at the time of booking. Large groups, generally 10 or more, are also encouraged call the office to coordinate reservations and to explore large group pricing.

What clothing should I wear?

Wear fitted clothing that does not allow anything to hang loose or get tangled in cables and rope. Long hair and jewelry should not be left loose. Sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended. Flip-flops and sandals are not acceptable.

What equipment is provided?

A harness and gloves are provided with your admission ticket.

Can the rope course operate in the rain?

The Adventure Park can still be fun while it is raining. However, the park will close for severe weather such as heavy rain, thunderstorms and high winds. If small storm systems are moving through the area we try to stay open and ask our guests to take a break while they pass. Call before you travel to confirm the operating schedule.

Is the Adventure Park certified?

YES Designed by Local alpine mountaineers, The Park is built to the standards of the ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology) specifications, among the most stringent ropes course safety standards in the world.

What food services are available?

The Park operates a small Adventure Store on site which sells hot and cold beverages, snack items and souvenirs.

Is there a fee for parking?

NO

What are the driving directions?

Our address is 1550 Wisconsin Dells Parkway. We operate with the Dells Army Ducks, BigFoot Zipline Tours and WildThing Jet Boats.

Weather closures

The Adventure Park is Open Rain or Shine, so we recommend dressing for the weather! In the event of severe weather (such as thunder, lightning, or high winds) the courses may close. Although we are unable to offer refunds, in the event of any course or park closures, your time may be extended, or vouchers will be made available for you to use towards future climbs that season.

Can I watch my children participate on the course?

Yes, but you will need to stand on the perimeter marked for spectators. All participants are required to have helmets, harness and gloves to be safe on the course, thus spectators may not enter the tower area.

Do I tip the guides?

While it is customary to tip the guides for their services, it is not mandatory. Tips may be handed directly to a guide who showed you extraordinary care, or added to the tip jar split equally among staff.

Can I take my camera or phone on the course?

No, we do not allow participants to carry anything in their pockets. We do provide free lockers.
